Individual Live Mentoring

Calls every other Tuesday · Time TBA

One Hour. Your Questions. Your Cases. Your Next Step.

Sometimes you don't need another course. You need someone to help you think through what is in front of you.

Book Your Session

PelviEd Individual Live Mentoring gives you a private, one-hour session with Dr. Tara Sullivan focused entirely on your needs as a pelvic health clinician.

Bring a challenging patient case, prepare for the PRPC exam, work through a clinical concept that still feels unclear, or simply come with the questions you haven't had a chance to ask anywhere else.

This hour is yours.

Personalized Mentoring for Real Clinical Questions

Pelvic health cases are rarely simple. A patient may present with bladder symptoms, bowel dysfunction, pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction, orthopedic findings, hormonal changes, surgical history, psychosocial factors, and pelvic floor impairments, all at the same time.

The challenge is often not knowing more information. It's figuring out:

What matters most?

What connects these symptoms?

What should I assess next?

What should I treat first?

Am I missing something important?

When should I refer out?

During your mentoring session, Dr. Tara helps you organize the clinical picture, identify the most meaningful findings, strengthen your reasoning, and determine practical next steps.

What Can You Use Your Session For?

There is no fixed agenda. Your hour goes where you need it most.

Bring a Challenging Patient Case

Have a patient who isn't progressing the way you expected? Bring the case. Together, you can work through:

  • Subjective history
  • Relevant medical and surgical history
  • Bowel, bladder, sexual function, and pain symptoms
  • Pelvic floor examination findings
  • Muscle tone and coordination
  • Orthopedic and movement findings
  • Treatment strategies you've already tried
  • Possible contributing systems
  • Red flags and referral considerations
  • Treatment prioritization
  • Home program ideas
  • Progression or regression of treatment

The goal isn't simply to tell you what to do. It's to help you understand how to reason through the case so you can apply that same thinking to future patients.

Prepare for the PRPC Exam

Review difficult topics, clarify concepts you keep missing, talk through practice questions, and connect anatomy and physiology to patient presentations. Identify your study gaps and work through them directly, instead of spending hours stuck on one concept.

Ask the Questions You Don't Want to Ask in a Group

Sometimes the question feels too basic. Sometimes it's complicated. Sometimes you're not sure how to phrase it. Individual mentoring gives you a private space to ask without comparing your experience to anyone else's.

Say What You're Really Thinking

"I have no idea what I'm doing with this patient." That's okay. This session is a space to say it plainly and get real direction back.

Your questions might be about internal examinations, pelvic floor muscle tone, manual therapy, exercise selection, patient positioning, cueing, treatment progression, sexual dysfunction, bowel dysfunction, bladder dysfunction, chronic pelvic pain, pregnancy and postpartum, postoperative care, male pelvic health, pediatric pelvic health, documentation, patient communication, scope of practice, referral decisions, or building confidence as a newer pelvic health clinician.

If it relates to pelvic health practice, bring it.

Strengthen Your Clinical Reasoning

One of the biggest goals of individual mentoring is helping you move beyond memorizing protocols. Pelvic health treatment rarely works well as diagnosis, protocol, exercise sheet. Real patients are more complicated than that.

Dr. Tara will help you look at the patient's entire presentation and ask:

What system appears to be driving this?

Where are they on the pelvic floor tone spectrum?

What findings are actually relevant to their symptoms?

What needs to change before another intervention will work?

What can physical therapy address, and what may require another provider?

This is the kind of clinical reasoning that becomes stronger with experience, discussion, and mentorship.

Leave With Practical Next Steps

You shouldn't finish a mentoring session with more confusion than you started with. The goal is for you to leave with a clearer understanding of:

  • What you're seeing
  • What may be contributing
  • What information you still need
  • What to assess next
  • What interventions make sense
  • What may not be appropriate
  • When additional referral or collaboration may be needed
  • How to progress the patient from where they are now

You may not always leave with one perfect answer. But you should leave knowing what direction to move next and why.

Your Hour Is Completely Customizable

There is no predetermined curriculum for Individual Live Mentoring.

  • Spend the full hour on one complex patient
  • Bring several smaller questions
  • Devote the entire session to PRPC preparation
  • Review a condition you don't feel confident treating
  • Talk through what you're encountering in practice right now

The session is built around what would be most valuable to you.

Who Is Individual Mentoring For?

Individual Live Mentoring can be valuable whether you're brand new to pelvic health or years into practice.

New Pelvic Health Clinicians

Get support as you begin seeing patients and encounter situations that weren't covered in your introductory coursework.

Clinicians Building Confidence

Talk through the cases that make you second-guess yourself and strengthen the reasoning behind your decisions.

Experienced Pelvic Health Clinicians

Use another experienced clinician as a sounding board for complex cases, unusual presentations, or treatment approaches.

PRPC Candidates

Use focused mentoring to strengthen your understanding and prepare for certification.

You Don't Have to Figure Every Case Out Alone

Clinical independence doesn't mean never asking for help.

Some of the strongest clinicians are the ones who know when to step outside their own thinking, ask another provider for perspective, and make sure they're considering the whole patient. Individual mentoring gives you that opportunity in a focused, private setting.

"I know there's something here. I just need help putting the pieces together."

That's exactly what this hour is for.
